Who is G Money?

What's up! Gregg Lira is my name and my last name is money currency for Italy. My father recently found out that there was a skating brand called Lira, so it seem  pretty interesting. I'm the first generation to graduate from high school from father and mother side of the family, so I have a lot on my shoulder to carry my family's pride high. My heritage is Mexican and Spaniard, my blue eyes are real and comes from my father's father side of the family and on the Spaniard part. I have three sister and one brother, and no pets because I live with my grandparents of father's parent. I'm a big fan of the Los Angeles Angels, Oakland Raiders, and Anaheim Ducks.
I'm 22 years old, and I want to major in environmental science and economics major. I was originally a business major and was going to become an an accounting and finance major. When I finished accounting 1b, I came to conclusion that this field was not a good fit for me. The reason that I was lead away from accounting was a horrible experience in winter with professor Mike Chaks. I could tell he was not even excited about his on career choice because this professor did not taught the subject to the fullest, and he rushed through each chapter so he could just go home. Then it was all about long hours behind the desk, taxes, revenues, pay roll, and balancing sheets on Microsoft, so this is why don't like accounting. However. finance is a field that help people finance their money in a better decision, but you don't make money unless you lure the customer into the business. Economics came to my interest, when I took macroeconomics with a professor name Albert Pasaoa,.He was like a really influential economics professor that knew the subject on top notch and related a lot of his subject from every day life. Environmental Science came to internet due to the fact we only have one planet, and need to better protect it by providing more natural resources to the table. I done a lot of research on the environmental science major before committing to this major. I'm taking the IGETC program because I don't if I will want to transfer to a CSU or UC. However, I do know that UC Riverside have a great environmental program where I might get a bachelors for Environmental Economics of Natural Resources and Policy.

My hobbies may consist of playing the bass guitar, I had gotten my first one in 2009 with my high school graduation money. I always wanted to play the bass guitar because of the lower tune down bass sound, groovy sound, and how every good bass players are hard to find. A few of my favorite bass players are Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fieldy from Korn, Cliff Burton from Metallica, and Jaco Pastorious a jazz bassist. All of these bass players contain their own unique playing style that I like from them. I play Laguna bass know for the beach city in California, and I use a line six amp. I also love sports such as football, baseball, and wrestling. I wrestled 4 years varsity and 3 years varsity football  North High School, I was surprisingly consider a stud from many staffs, teachers, and students.  I live near by Fairmont Park, so I go fishing, walking and biking around that park. In addition, Mount Rubidoux is close to me, so I go hiking up and down the trail. When it comes to my work I just do landscaping and handyman jobs because they are side jobs for the week or when I have the time to make money quickly.

If there is anything I want to have a brief concept, I believe it will be to know what my future will hold with an environmental economics majors. I know this will be an exciting course ahead of me, I'm up for the challenge to read all the materials, watch videos, read blogs, be apart of the field trips, community service, and to read extra material for the related subject matters. If Dr. Tonya Huff can inspire me to take another route through the environmental science major, I will consider her options on my bucket list.

Discovering Planet Lira's Ecological Footprint

For a first assignment in an environmental science course, students must learn about their ecological footprint. From this  assignment, it tells the society the truth about their environmental judgement in the world of their own. In order to take an ecological footprint quiz, you have to visit the www.footprintnetwork.org/calculator.This quiz was very detailed that contain information such as how much food you consume, whether it's fresh or package products, how many miles you drive or ride a transportation, whether you keep buying new updated or replace some house known appliances, what type of products that you may recycle, the type of house that you live in with sq ft measure, and electricity matters of house or mobile phone.

In order to live in Planet Lira"s world, we will need 4.6 planets to help support our living with enough natural resources. Statistically, my ecological breakdown shows the biggest impact on my living decision such as we will be using 16% on food, 18% on shelter, 7% on mobility, 16% on goods, and 43% on service. Then to support Planet Lira's lifestyle, it takes 20.3 global acres of Earth's productive area, and 20.2 tons of carbon dioxide. Global acres is a type of units to measure productivity of an average acre of lands. Specifically, it's a world average acre of lands. productivity for all biologically productive land and water in a given year.

As usual, most people normally wonder What Ifs that will make a situation way better. For my list of making my ecological world better, there are three suggestion and it's result. Some suggestions were reducing the amount of animals products we eat by half, to purchase products that used less packing or were made out of 100% post - consumer recycled content material, and to use public transportation one day more each week.

To sum it all up, it's not all what you believe! Even though, you recycle newspaper, cardboard, construction waste, yard waste goes into green trash can, and take proper recyclables to the dump. It still take a lot more work to keep 1 Planet clean and healthy over needing an extra 3.6 Planets. For instance, a society must eat proper food, transportation with cars must be cut down, replacing new appliance must be taken care of properly, and proper housing requirements.
